Questions about moving to Shopify
How much does the move cost?
From €2,900 on a ready Shopify theme adjusted to your brand. With your own design it is the price of a new store plus the transfer. The Shopify plan and apps are paid separately. I am not a VAT payer, so the price in the quote is final.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We redirect every old URL to its new address, so links and rankings carry over. After launch we watch Search Console and fix any page Google cannot find.
Will my store be offline during the move?
No. Your WooCommerce store keeps selling until the day we switch the domain to Shopify.
Can customers log in with their old password?
No. Passwords cannot be moved between platforms, so customers get an email to set a new one. Their accounts and order history stay.
What happens to my WordPress plugins?
Most have a Shopify app that does the same job. For the rest we suggest a custom solution. You get the list with prices before we start.
How long does it take?
You get a concrete date in the proposal. It depends on the number of products and plugins.
