Is Webcheck really free?
Yes. You see the full result with every finding and how to fix it right away, without payment and without signing up.
How long does a check take?
Usually 20 to 40 seconds. The first findings appear within a few seconds; the speed measurement by Google PageSpeed takes the longest.
Can I send the result to someone?
Yes. Every result has its own link you can send to a colleague or to whoever manages your website. The link works for 90 days.
Do you check the whole website?
We check the homepage, because most visitors arrive there and most settings apply to the whole site. We go through the whole website in a free consultation.
Why does the score change a little when I check again?
Speed depends on how busy the server is at that moment, and Google PageSpeed measures a little differently every time. A few points of difference are normal; the findings stay the same.
What do you store?
The website address and what we measured, for 90 days, so the result link works. We do not ask for your name or e-mail. To prevent abuse we keep a one-way code derived from your IP address for one day.
